Oh hey! Yesterday was my last day working with a student I’ve been supporting as a Notetaker for the past 6 months. They gave me a thank you card and some chocolate which made me well up. I love this work. I love helping disabled students with their education. It was bittersweet.
It’s been such a pleasure working with them, so interesting to learn about history at degree level, the campus was stunning and I loved seeing my friends in between sessions BUT working 4 days a week (bookshop & notetaking) as a chronically ill person has been HARD.
