Some people don't understand how much of Disney World was constructed with Joe Rhode as the lead imagineer. Some of the most beautiful places on property were done under his direction. In addition Aulani and Mission Breakout were his doing. Rhode is true the greatest imagineer.

Disney has nearly 4 times as many acres for conservation alone as universal has total. Disney has nearly 8,000 conservation acres while Universal has 2,000 total in Orlando.

Fort Wilderness along with Bay Lake is the reason that Universal Orlando will never be "better" that Disney. Walt's blessing of size is the difference between Universals corporate parks and Disneys vast expanse of natural Florida land.

Pandora at night it's truly one of the greatest places on earth. Bioluminescent along with the Hallelujah mountains overhead create such an otherworldly environment. When the hours at Animal Kingdom allow, seeing this place will always be worth the money.

These two pictures were taken roughly 11 years apart on the western beach at fort wilderness. While I'm excited to see lakeshore lodge when it opens, I will continue to advocate for preservation of fort wilderness. Leave fort wilderness in the wilderness.

Looking back at this picture reminds me of why this is my favorite pavilion. While the colors and the fountain has changed a lot of the original focus of this place still remains the same.

This brings up and interested point. Grand avenue runs level with Cypress drive. Is Disney going to build a bridge like Toy Story Land or reroute the road? The concept art doesn't show the road at all. My guess is that the road will be taken out or at the least rerouted.

Sight lines from star tours is going to be interesting for the door coaster building. I love the idea of the ride I just hope there is not a grey building lurking over star tours.
