She left the apartment @LawfulHulk had given her, a scowl on her face. Carol was frustrated. She had lost Jens card, didn't have a phone, and the Avengers HQ was was under construction, so she didn't know where to find anyone. It just wasn't her day.

"Argh! Why can't anything be easy for once?! Haven't I had enough shit to deal with?!" She groaned at the ceiling before changing clothes and heading out. She needed to do some shopping. First stop was to get a cellphone, then clothes.

Sighing, Carol put her mug down and looked around. She was looking for her cellphone, which she belatedly realized she didn't have, nor had she gotten one from @LawfulHulk . She gave an exasperated sigh.

She lifted the mug of hot liquid and gently blew onto it. The images from her dream, or nightmare, filled her mind. Distractedly, she took a sip of the liquid a bit too soon. "Shit! Oh hell hot." She rubbed her lips with her finger, frowning.

Carol rubbed eyes and walked to the small kitchen. Instinctively, and automatically, she headed for the coffee maker. It was one of those one cup makers. She set everything up leaned in the counter as she waited for it to brew.

The alarm next to her bed startled her awake. Carols eyes were wide from the fright, but still blurry from sleep. (Freaking nightmare.Damn it Tony! It wasn't my fault!) Carol groaned to herself as she crawled out of bed.

Carol tried to fly over to the woman, but try as she might, her dream self couldn't get near her. She watched as her friend was overtaken by a swarm of bright blasts. Dream Carol screamed in anger and dismay as she watched dream jess fade into black.
