The February Monthly Meeting for the EU-funded CHEK project was held yesterday, February 27, 2024, on the Teams platform. We had approximately 30 participants from all consortium partners, discussing the progress of the project as well as addressing open questions.

In order to improve BIM and GIS integration, as a part of CHEK project, the 3D Geoinformation research group at TU Delft is developing a BIM Shell Extractor which extracts the outer shell of an IFC file and stores it as a CityJSON model. More info: lnkd.in/dJRn2VFi

The CHEK consortium consists of 18 multidisciplinary and multisectoral coverage entities from 12 countries in Europe. In addition, a strategic Advisory Board and growing Community of Practice members, assists the development and the exploitation of the results.
