@biorxivpreprint Our latest work on hypopigmentation and the #Kalinago ancestry is up on BioRXiv. 55% Native American ancestry detected, highest among the Caribbean islanders, and Native American ancestry contributed to about -22 melanin index in skin pigmentation.

We combined micro-CT imaging with ionic #silver staining to characterize 3D #melanin patterns in whole zebrafish larvae, consistently reproducing pigment patterns seen by light microscopy and enabling quantitative analyses of melanin content. (2/x)
