"AMGA members are looking to Medicare Advantage because Fee-For-Service (FFS) payments are declining. Our 4th Annual Risk Survey showed medical groups predict only 29% of Medicare revenues will be FFS based by 2020," said @jpenso1 while opening day 2 of @BMAlliance's #MASummit.

Last night, @RepDelBene introduced a bill to help @theAMGA members manage #ChronicCare by removing the cost-sharing obligation on CCM services. Currently, only around 650,000 out of 35 million Medicare beneficiaries utilize these chronic care services. bit.ly/2YgrDrI

Today's HELP package from @SenAlexander and @SenMurray includes sweeping legislation to #LowerHealthCareCosts by requiring payers to share claims data, an @theAMGA priority. Providing access to this data is a huge win for both patients and their providers.

This morning, Dr. Scott Hines of @CrystalRun and @theAMGA testified in front of @SenateFinance on the implemention of #MACRA. We need Congress to ensure CMS implements this program to create meaningful and realistic incentives to move to value.

Chair of the @theAMGA board, Dr. Ashok Rai @preveaceo will testify Thursday before @HouseCommerce on AMGA's views on #MIPS. MIPS needs to serve as a transition tool to value, as Congress intended. Excluding more than half of providers will not get us there.
