In intimate partner's and domestic GBV, always are the most vulnerable victims bear the horrible consequences of this violence leading to death. This happened twice in South Sudan in two months where five children were innocently killed by a father or close relatives.

The South Sudan has announced the reopening of schools after six months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.The decision was made during the meeting chaired by President Salva Kiir yesterday, 12/Sep/2020.The resumption of all levels of learning institutions in the country.

Arrangements and prevention measures for re-opening of primary schools in South Sudan are hard to be put in place to minimize COVID-19 risks due to classrooms congestion, where a minimum number of pupils in lower classes ranges between 80-125 pupils in one class.

Lack of evidence based statistics on the presence of child trafficking, exploitation, abuse, violence and neglect put all children in a dark corner in South Sudan. Cases of such incidents are rife and rampant with little attention and actions to address them.

Economic crisis in South Sudan forces a parent to sell or traffick his two children to a trafficker. Why a mature father sells away his children to get money for survival in exchange of a short term benefits? This is the first child trafficking incident by a father.
