BREAKING: Herm Edwards agreed to a five-year show-cause penalty—one of the longest ever for a football HC—with the NCAA's COI for his significant role in Arizona State's recruiting violations case, per sources. Six staffers got 3-10 years. Full details: 247sports.com/college/arizon…
Herm agreed to harsh penalties that will never be enforced on him to keep the program from harsher penalties. He is responsible, and I have no extra love for Herm, but he is helping by agreeing to this so there aren't more penalties like a bowl ban or more scholarship reductions. Devil fans should at least acknowledge that aspect. It was still his doing, and can dislike him for that.
@ChrisKarpman .@ASU needs to sue for the $4 million back.
@ChrisKarpman @JasonLaCanfora This is the guy whose input BB used to draft Nkeal Harry.
@ChrisKarpman It would say a whole bunch about Herm’s character (what’s left of it) if he would publicly apologize to the University and all Sun Devils. It says a ton that he hasn’t. 🤡 🤢
