Update - 6ish weeks in and it’s a DREAM. 100% best medical management I’ve tried for endo so far. Nausea has settled right down and I’ve only had a teeny tiny flare that naproxen dealt with rapidly. Will see how it goes longer term, but so far 🙌🙌

Also, started Ryeqo to help manage the creeping endo symptoms. So far, so (tentatively) good - just a bit of nausea which 🤞 will settle down. It’s definitely easing some of the more intense flare-type pain, so hopefully I’ve got some breathing room to settle into my role🙌

Well, after 3 years of solid graft, and a week now working as a fully qualified and registered scrub nurse 🥳… Time to take on the ENT theatres rotation! After months in gynae it does feel a bit like I’m at the ‘wrong end’ 😂, but I’m getting stuck in and learning so much!

Wondered why I woke up feeling horrendous with my mood in my boots and absolutely exhausted to the point I didn’t even want to speak. Tuuuuurns out it was a migraine and the headache hadn’t hit yet. Taken all my meds and now I feel like a new person👀 Oops. Sorry Paul 😂

Scrubbed for a surgery just under light supervision today! It was simple and not a stack of instruments to keep on track of, but I genuinely felt in control and steady. If only the same could be said for the steep curve that’s laparoscopic 😅 exposure and all that I suppose 😂

My brain is still processing and trying to catch up, so I’m just chucking it out into the internet: I got 95% on my dissertation, my uni have suggested I look to publish it, and will work with me to do that. I’m just a little voice talking about endo, but I’m still talking💛😭

Super, SUPER enjoyed getting a new diagnosis via discharge letter (not even a physical copy, just on my account). It’s not the diagnosis that has especially bothered me - like it’s fine I’ll deal. It’s the not even telling me it was there as something to be aware of 🙃🙃

I don’t usually have regular periods because I have an IUS and my GOD is it the best thing in the world. What have I started, you ask? Two days before Christmas? A period. And it’s horrendous for NO good reason. I didn’t sign up for this nonsense, I’ve got baking to do 😭
