Deku is an infinitely better MC than Itadori. While I think Itadori is perfect for JJK, it isn't all that satisfying to watch him grow and fight. Deku on the other hand is one of the most satisfying characters to watch grow and fight I've ever seen.

This might go down as the worst Shonen opening ever. The visuals are trying to be different, that's fine, but they don't fit the series, nor does this horrible song. They're trying way to hard to appeal to mainly western audiences and it's going to hurt the series in the long run

I literally said it doesn't have agency BY ITSELF. All the set up, the arms, the vestiges, Deku failing to save Shigi, all of this is to put him at rock bottom so when everyone arrives, inspired by Deku and his heroism, it shows that even at his absolute lowest, he's not out yet.

Deku losing his arms led to all the good he's done throughout the series to come back to him. It was simply a trigger for everyone to rush and help out their student/friend/inspiration, him getting his arms back shows how he inspired Eri to be strong. You're missing the point.
