Claude Sonnet 4 tends to rewrite from scratch instead of what is asked to do ( refactor, debug, etc). this behavior has been repeated certain times. what is worse is that it doesnt take copy of the file!

AugmentCode just need solid marketing. just invite users to use it for a month and then let them go back to cursor to see the diff. based on my 1 month experience with AugmentCode, I am not going back to cursor. 😜 but $50/month is a lot. that is why users base is small.
