This semester is coming to a close and we are one step closer to becoming teachers. We have learnt so much this semester in EDFD452. Cant wait to see what the future holds. #acuedu_p

Most schools are starting to open back up on Monday. I have spoken to some Kindergarten teachers who have said that, students will be learning a lot of the basics again, as some haven't been at school for nearly 8 weeks. #acuedu_p

Teachers go above and beyond for their students and this has been highlighted during this pandemic. #acuedu_p

Had the opportunity to talk to some new graduate teachers in class. They provided a lot of insight into what we could encounter when we start teaching. The finish line is in sight. #acuedu_p

Attended an eSafety webinar for this weeks lecture and found it very beneficial. Well worth the time, as there was lots of helpful resources for students, teachers and parents. esafety.gov.au/educators/trai… #acuedu_p

This week in EDFD452 we looked at reflective practice and how it plays an important role in us becoming a better teacher. However, reflection is very important for students as well. I have found that a traffic light system can be very beneficial for students. #acuedu_p

Really great way to allow students to learn about what is happening around them, without having to look at a screen #acuedu_p

Started my Professional Learning Plan over the weekend. It has been great to review just how far I have come with my teaching and areas that I would like to improve on in the future. #acuedu_p

During a time where everything is changing quickly it is important that we remember to think about our wellbeing and the wellbeing of our students. Particularly, when we don't really leave our house or work area frequently. #acuedu_p

While there are challenges to online learning, there are many positives; students becoming independent learners, while learning life skills and teachers, being able to experiment with different teaching strategies, to see what works, what doesn't and what they enjoy #acuedu_p

The teaching profession is often a busy profession, so it is important that we acknowledge the need to take a break, otherwise we can burn out. #ACUedu_p

It is great to see teachers supporting other teachers and parents during this chaotic time #acuedu_p
