@raijinmaru__ @lingsrii I fully agree, Ryan. I am doing the very same thing myself. It depends on how far you can selfstudy well. But definitely, with things like foundations for pronunciation etc., it`s good to hit it right from the start... I go by "the right mix". Loved your approaches!

The German word Messer means knife, but also "measurer" of whatever kind... So you get: Temperatur-Messer, Schneide-Messer, Druck-Messer, Fisch-Messer... ...and a million others... #German #studytwt #learnGerman #vocabulary #lol #funny #words

@mrsgreenchy Yeqj you can try that but it doesn't always work. My friend had a gf from germany and during their relationship he didn't learn much German. They weren't in her native country tho
