When I first started gamedev I thought I would form a team who would bring my ideas to life! But turns out people need money to live and will never work for free🤣🤣🤣🤣

@CodeRed_dev you can find people who will work for free but they won't be experienced. They'll also be young people who need experience with a successful project.
@CodeRed_dev It's not always true. One of my coworkers wants to make sprites for my game to put on their resume. They don't want compensation and I even offered it
@CodeRed_dev It's ok to be an Idea guy, as long as you also have enough money to actually PAY your dev team. Then you suddenly shift to being useful as far as getting the game done.

@CodeRed_dev I've found when I search for voluntary help it rarely goes well, I kinda just end up stumbling into it by talking to the right people in the right circumstances
@CodeRed_dev Which is why the only person I'm hiring is a composer. I'm doing everything else myself, it's just gonna take a LOT of time xD
