Don't compare yourself with successful devs instead be happy for any success you get no matter how small 😃😃😃
@CodeRed_dev my self-destructive trait is feeling inadequate against the entirety of indie dev twitter as if they're all a single super-talented person
@CodeRed_dev Yep, I noticed especially when it comes to boomer shooters indies are really making crazy good stuff. Indie game standards have been rising a lot
@CodeRed_dev I've said it 1000 times. Comparison is the thief of joy.
@CodeRed_dev Happy I sold 1 copy during xmas sale - lolz 😆 to be honest I've just been working in improving the game... So no real marketing / trailer etc. Game 2 years since launch so mutant squirrels still 'sleeping'... 🐿️
@CodeRed_dev Hey I’m currently getting joy out of seeing my demo downloads go up pretty fast, even though it’s not bringing in much of actual income 😅
@CodeRed_dev Are you an actual game though? My inner gamedev consumes all the time 🫥
@CodeRed_dev Yep. I see game dev as a game, where you don't know how bad you are at the start, but, that means you'll improve with time, and you can always team up and face greater challenges with experience 🗡🐲
@CodeRed_dev Me giving people ideas takes half of my soul to help them create a masterpiece and that be Froggonit and Little Scavenger
@CodeRed_dev I've honestly been too distracted and happy with the fact that I actually managed to make, finish, and publish a game. I know it's possible and doable
