CRUD isn’t exciting, but if it’s sloppy, everything else breaks. Solid basics > flashy features.

Got the basic task flow working in Task Manager V2. Add, update, delete. Simple stuff, but this is the backbone for everything else. Without solid CRUD, automation and reminders are just bugs waiting to happen.
APIs don’t need to be fancy. They need to be predictable. Consistency > clever naming.
Most CRUD apps die the same death: ❌ No caching ❌ Messy migrations ❌ Bad auth logic I’m avoiding these traps while building Task Manager V2. Backend isn’t just about features, it’s about designing for survival.
Spent more time sketching the schema than writing queries. Lesson: the longer you plan, the less you bleed later.
Backend architecture is like plumbing. No one notices when it works, everyone panics when it breaks. That’s why I’m obsessed with reliable DB design
Most apps work fine with 10 users and collapse at 100. The problem isn’t features, it’s backend design. Here’s the DB schema I’m starting with for Task Manager V2. Built to handle growth, not just toy use cases. [diagram/visual] Features mean nothing without reliability.
