bad news: the linux version of payday 2 crashes if i try to update the mods through BLT for some reason good news: the linux version of payday 2 ships with debug symbols in the binary for some reason bad news: it segfaults in the slab allocator dereferencing r13 here

Alyssa warned me that Xorg's glamor would hit all the corner case bugs in the Mesa driver, and she wasn't wrong... this is supposed to be an xterm 😅 But at least it actually starts X and runs, even if it's all glitched up!

TW: suicide Near was the author of groundbreaking emulators: bsnes, higan, ares. They were an inspiration for many of us in the emulation scene. Last year they committed suicide after suffering from online harassment for too long. @Cloudflare, put a stop to this. #dropkiwifarms

I'd like to reveal that RT64, the path tracer behind sm64rt, is evolving into an N64 emulator plugin. Here's a small reel of footage I've captured from games that are already showing results. Ray traced lighting, object motion blur, widescreen, DLSS and 60+ FPS.

🧵As I mentioned last week GOV.UK removed jQuery as a dependency for all frontend apps, meaning 32 KB of minified & compressed JS was removed. So let's see what difference this has made for users by examining our RUM data. Thread will mainly focus on JS CPU time.

Happy June 15th! Atmosphere 1.3.0 is now in pre-release: git.atmos.phe.re/releases/tag/1… Support was added for 14.0.0, and rather a lot changed under the hood. If you encounter any problems, please don't hesitate to report them. I hope you all enjoy! :)
