Day 0 of #100daysofcode I’ve been learning how to code since the end of September and I want to start tracking my progress. No better time than the new year! Today I will finish #freecodecamp’s ES6 module for JavaScript. Classes, getters, and setters were confusing.
Day 1 #100daysofcode Completed JS Regex & Debugging sections on freecodecamp. Beginning my journey into learning OOP by watching @codesmith_’s hard parts lecture on youtube (amazing!). Goal is to finish the next section on FCC tonight.
Day 2 #100daysofcode I’ve jumped around a lot of resources trying to grasp certain concepts. Worked through JS Weird Parts on Udemy by @AnthonyPAlicea all day and only 2 hours are left. Hoping to finish this tomorrow to solidify my understanding of what JS does under the hood!!
Day 3 #100daysofcode Most of my learning today was focused on OOP in JS. “new” keyword, constructors, prototypal inheretance, dunderproto… such amazing concepts!!
Day 4 #100DaysOfCode Finished The Weird Parts by @AnthonyPAlicea and reviewed all my notes. Starting to understand more and more by the day. Time to pivot back to CSX by @codesmith_ !
Day 5 #100DaysOfCode Started learning about Async/Promises/Await in JS. I also need to brush up on callbacks. I’m so excited about learning JS right now that I had a dream about me explaining what prototypal inheritance was to my friends LOL.
Day 6 #100DaysOfCode More work on Asynchronous JS today supplemented by @codesmith_’s Async workshop on youtube! I “promise” you I’m getting more addicted to learning everyday 🤣.
Day 7 #100DaysOfCode Didn’t have much time today but fortunately I was still able to knock out 1-2 hours. Some more asynchronous JS - dived deeper into Async & Await!
Day 8 #100DaysOfCode I wanted to apply what I’m learning so I spent time solving challenges & learning on @edabit! I love that it’s such a beginner friendly platform!
Day 9 #100DaysOfCode Took a nice break since I went on vacation for a week! So glad to be back. Easing my way back into it all by spening today solving challenges on Edabit 💪.
