Don’t confuse this with me thinking Brissett is elite, though I’m 100% behind him. But his throw out of the end zone evading Von Miller was elite and set us up to win the game. It reminded me of some nerdy quarterback I used to know. #Colts #ColtsNation

Jay Glazer made a good point. Brissett’s throw was a QB1 type of play. No matter how you feel about Jacoby, there isn’t a backup QB in the league or even average QB that could have 1) evaded Miller but also 2) make that throw. So keep thinking he’s “just average”. 🙄 #Colts

@sportsbystephen Andrew Lucks forced mistakes would cost the colts a lot. Especially with the pats defense today, their better off with jacoby keeping mistakes at a minimum and controlling the game clock. So I think jacoby is a better choice then luck

No room in my feeble brain to think of such things. I am currently thinking how legit of a Super Bowl contender this 2019 Colts team is with the roster as currently constructed. You know, the team that actually beat Mahomes in KC.
