NEW: Man tries kidnapping a fifth-grade student in broad daylight in Glendale, Arizona as the child was walking to school. Terrifying. Shortly after the incident, police arrested 37-year-old Joseph Ruiz who had a known criminal history which included being convicted of aggravated assault where he stabbed his mom in the neck. The incident happened before 8am on Friday after the girl had just left her house to walk to school. After she ran away, three other students came to her aid. "They hid her because the man was chasing her," said a sibling and cousin of the children who helped the 5th grader. "I think they were very brave for their age. I’m telling them all day, like you’re heroes."
@CollinRugg I am so sick of hearing about these repeat offenders out on the street reoffending yet again.
@CollinRugg Why is he not still in jail? Why was he out to begin with?
@CollinRugg This is when it's OK to deal with that guy using violence.
@CollinRugg And they ask why we don't see kids playing on public spaces anymore. That's why. There are more criminals walking freely everyday. How about we don't defund the police when they are doing their jobs. and stop importing them from everywhere through the souther border
@CollinRugg Since when do we let violent criminals walk free to victimize more of our citizens??? Then Democrats want our guns???
@CollinRugg @Susanne_Smith1 This guy needs to be locked up!
@CollinRugg This is the result of of the criminals over victims policies of the soft hearted Dems
@CollinRugg Parents, please talk to your children. Tell them what to do when something like this happens. Imagine how easy it would be for this man to run across the border and disappear.
@CollinRugg And some leftist DA will let him out again. Could be back put on the street as we speak. Can he’s r them now, ”it was only an attempted kidnapping- but he didn’t actually kidnap her.” When will voters have had enough of this crime and chaos?
