I have 2 modest proposals: *Mobile operator* that charges calls/SMS outside my contacts a nominal fee and credits my account. No more robo. *Checking account* that requires 2FAC auth to initiate payments (1 time or recurring) why are bank accts less protected than my X acct.

So @hbomax is becoming just "max"? Seems like an unforced error at a time when the service is just starting to recover from multiple poor rebrands and confusion between the app / cable channel / etc.

We launched this first for Quest Pro last year, I'm really proud of the team for pulling off being able to bring this to Quest 2 users! Being able to quickly look up a game tip or message friend while playing VR is awesome.

Now I’m getting ads in my Twitter feed saying “The New Bing Is Here!” From what I can tell it’s just a few canned queries unless you’ve been accepted into the waitlist (press??). Soooooo weeeeeird. Wasteful.

I just tried Bing. Same old Bing. Further down the page there’s a “waitlist”. You need to install the Bing app and change a bunch of defaults to get “faster” access on the waitlist. OpenAI put ChatGPT right out for public use no strings. Unforced error from Microsoft.
