Rush-Henrietta teachers, staff, and administrators gathered at the Senior High School to officially kick off the 2024-2025 school year. It was a wonderful way to start the day before everyone returned to their buildings for additional activities. Looking forward to a great year!

The lilies have arrived! No, not a Mother’s Day treat. Instead, these will be delivered to our second grade classes so that students can examine the structures found in flowers!

PLTW Distinguished School – Again! For the fifth consecutive year, Rush-Henrietta Senior High School was named by Project Lead The Way (PLTW) as a Distinguished School! Because our PLTW programs include grades 9-12, Burger and Roth junior high schools also share in this honor.

Paraprofessional Appreciation Day   We celebrate the contributions our paraprofessionals make to our district every day. We could not do it without you! The support you provide to our students and teachers is appreciated - thank you!

Miss Cooke’s class at Fyle made an Earth, sun, and moon out of papier mâché, to show how the three work together to create the special event we will soon witness! Eclipse glasses are being provided to our students to allow them to safely enjoy this event. rhnet.org/eclipse.

We are learning about the solar eclipse happening on April 8th! These students are exploring how the small moon can “cover” the large sun. Using a cup and ping pong ball, they had to get the distance between the two just right in relation to their eye (Earth).
