What was the first #xmen comic you bought? It came out in 1966, but I found it at a flea market in 1970. It not only became my first issue of X-Men, it also became the oldest comic in my limited collection at that time (I started saving them in early 1967)! And I still have it!

Artists drawing superhero team books need to study Neal Adams' work. No one--and I do mean no one-- consistently composed a group shot/all talk panel as dynamically and 'fully' as Adams did. He created this kind of depth and overlap frequently:

@Comichistorians I absolutely love reading about pulp history that inspired Superman. I believe Doc also may have been called the Man of Steel once or twice before being the Man of Bronze.
@Comichistorians Classic X-Men had so many great original covers. Sometimes I wish Marvel would do a big art book just collecting those.
