The ‘no-code’ dream... commitstrip.com/2020/10/07/the…
@CommitStrip I can't tell if folks are purposefully gatekeeping or they just haven't actually looked at no-code tools in...years 😅 but you can build a lot more than most know. Custom SaaS, marketplaces, and a whole lot more.
@CommitStrip That 'no-code' dream is as real as the cake. At most, we'll have more levels of abstraction between the developer and the codebase but in the end, there will always be code no matter how deep we try to bury it. UIs/UXs are temporary, code is forever.
@CommitStrip Nobody does #NoCode like @kelseyhightower
@CommitStrip This is indeed true for the simple No-code solutions, but there are some solutions (like thinkwisesoftware.com/en/) where most of the dumb work is replaced by 'high level' modelling.
@CommitStrip @LosantHQ workflow is a no-code tool, but it can accept JavaScript snippets to add more features. Having an extension point is better than rebuilding the whole project.
@CommitStrip That's why I don't fear losing my job anytime soon 😆
@CommitStrip Man, this just made my day. I met too many dreamers that belive we will be replaced by AI driven code generators 🤪

@CommitStrip Ha! So true. @arthriticjan @kelvinpapp
@CommitStrip Blueprints Visual Scripting is no-code, they seem okay with
