Prince of Persia. Domark, 1990. #Commodore #Amiga
@CommodoreBlog C64 owners were so lucky when on 16 October 2011 a port of the game was released for them by Andreas Varga (aka Mr. SID). The C64 conversion comprises all 13 levels.
@CommodoreBlog Loved the old school copy protection. First game I ever 'hacked' was the D&D Gold Box games. I used a hex editor to make the password the same in every case, so I didn't have to use the wheel thing.
@CommodoreBlog Played this on an IBM “clone” computer in the early 90s.
@CommodoreBlog I mastered that. And had to call Jordan to get a new disc because the one Broderbund sent didn't work. 😂
@CommodoreBlog fantastic game, well ahead of its time, animation still looks good today!
@CommodoreBlog Playing 'Prince of Persia' on anything other than the Apple II is sacrilege.
@CommodoreBlog Those smooth animations drove me crazy at the time, it's incredible.
@CommodoreBlog How did I find the patience to play and finish this game back then? Look how slow it is. And it has no saves even though I believe the NES version has passwords. Not sure. But the PC I think you had to finish it in one sitting.
@CommodoreBlog One of the best first games I've ever played. 🔥✨🕹️
@CommodoreBlog It's a deservedly legendary game but imagine a teen coming from Turrican 2 on their Amiga to a PC owner (EGA, beeper) praising this as the best game they have.
@CommodoreBlog Played that, but couldn’t get very far. 🤣
@CommodoreBlog It's always nice to see this colored. I played this game on my PC XT's monochrome monitor.
@CommodoreBlog So that’s where the door was all that time
@CommodoreBlog I had it and strangely I could never get into it. The timing of the jumps was a little too delicate for me. I wanted to get on with the thing.
@CommodoreBlog It's on the Commodore 64 as well, since 2011! youtube.com/watch?v=yTL-tk…
@CommodoreBlog Why is the prince of Persia white? what in the netflix?
