On June 23rd, 10 @Olchfaschool pupils joined the Rising Mathematicians Festival @SwanseaUni organised by @AxiomMaths and @RhGMC_MSPW . They enjoyed an exciting day of solving problems, collaborating with pupils of other schools and visiting Swansea Uni. Fantastic opportunity!
Last Tuesday, @ProfRSevilla from @SwanseaUni delivered a really interesting talk to @Olchfaschool Y12 Maths pupils about shaping our world with mathematical modelling, computational engineering and AI. Many thanks for an engaging and inspirational talk!
On 1st May 2025, 54 @Olchfaschool pupils in Y8 and 61 in Y7 sat the Junior @UKMathsTrust challenge. It was a privilege to be able to celebrate their success in assemblies! 5🥇9🥈23🥉in Year 8 and 1🥇8🥈14🥉in Year 7 . Congratulations to all who participated! Well done!
