Watching the marches against mandatory vaccination for NHS staff and I'm angry. A long and rambling thread follows:

Pls stop othering ‘the vulnerable’ as if it’s an optional burden or charity to protect them. Because: a)it’s ableist b)even 2y on we can’t accurately tell who exactly can get severe or Long Covid c)we’re all vulnerable at some point in our lives They are society. They are us.

Clear message oozing with common sense & compassion for others. Anyone can have covid, anyone could be clinically vulnerable - not all health problems are externally visible. Masks are an act of kindness & show a desire to protect others. I’ll keep wearing masks.

I know I won’t get support on here, people are just busy, we’re in a time when we’re just too busy for others. No sense of community anymore, no caring for others.

Every day feels so different, the highs and the lows. I find this so exhausting because more than anything what I would give for my day to be normal, a day normal to me.

Today is a tough day, because today I feel very little hope 😞
