Waste from vegetable markets and garden waste in Battambang Municipality are recycled into resources as well as avoidance reduction of its negative impact and waste amount to landfill to prolong landfill life span, esp. able to convert waste into compost for organic cropping.

Waste collection ships by OEOO. Seehamster is operating in Sangke River Cambodia by COMPED-WM; Seekuh operating in Hong Kong and Germany; yet Seeelefant is under the evolution. Solution on waste collection from water bodies is just a primary one, need the participation of all.

COMPED-WM has been implementing Sangke River Clean Up under the support from OEOO Germany with the local authorities and national and international volunteers for the benefits of public welfare, aquatic biodiversity as well as clean, green and heritage city of Battambang.

Biological residues will not be garbage if there is a public and private participation, COMPED processes compost recycling but with its limited capacity. Compost is part of nature and it needs to return back to nature for health and environment.
