It's difficult to describe the frustration of being in a class where all you learn is the names of concepts you mastered years ago.
"Does iv6 mean G-Bb-D-E or G minor first inversion?" "First inversion obviously!" Shut up.
When you're reading analysis notation and can't tell if the 6 after a roman numeral means the note or the inversion.
