Studying DX12, I think the problem with API examples is that they try too much to hide the implementation in their wrappers ("framework code"), which makes understanding harder. I don't care about your amazing OOP/C++ smartptr wrappers, I just want the raw API ffs!!!!!

Shouldnt video games be crazy expensive? The amount of work is so huge; but on the other hand, movies (tickets to cinema, remember cinemas?) is not that expensive compared to their budget. I dunno, does anyone have thoughts on this?

@janwilmans @epyoncf @lefticus To me CI builds are not interesting. I want everything to run locally. Maybe 30 years ago it made sense to rely on an external server for builds. Today, your computer is a supercomputer and should be able to do a full build in a few seconds for 99% of all projects ever.

Using Facebook Messenger drives me insane, since they added the E2E encryption (that's cool) it has troubles loading chats for me, on desktop. On top of that, it's painfully slow (since forever...). Any tips how to persuade friends to move to something more sane :(? (Telegram?)
