I've never dealt with this kind of anxiety. Anticipatory grief + the stress of trying to keep a pet alive. It's limbo. No way of knowing if they'll bounce back, so all you can do is wait to see if they're suffering increases. I feel paralyzed. I feel responsible. This is heavy.
