You'll never know if it'll work unless you get feedback by testing it in the real world. Spend few bucks. Test the copy. Working? Great. Go ahead and spend more. Not working? Scrape it. Test another one. Then another one. Another one. Do it until you find that one.

Don't detail your product too much in the copy. It will only bore the people. Let them figure out the details themselves by visiting the sales page. Just give them a good enough reason to click and visit the sales page. That's all you need to do.

When you say "can you give me a testimonial?" Do you expect something negative? This is why testimonials is basically asking your existing customers to ask other people to buy your product by either over exaggerating the experience or straight up lying about it.
