When you don't realize that you have been spoken to a certain way for soooo long, that when people that don't matter talk in that same tone you withdraw and go into "do not speak unless spoken to" even when those exact words have never been told to you. -Candii 😓🤦‍♀️😶

Hot take: your upbringing and resulting mental health issues can be the stuff of horror movies and you are still valid if you find a way to laugh at it. Humor is a coping skill...and also some people really struggle to attach congruent emotions to events...

TikTok guidelines make no sense. Warn a community about a pr*dator, and you get a violation for harassment and bullying. Meanwhile, the individual pr*ting on minors is safe and sound. 🙄

Please be patient with people who have a hard time articulating the way they feel, or the things they are battling with. Many of these people grew up in an environment where no matter what they said, it was dismissed, or not heard. They stop sharing to keep safe. Have patience.
