Lately been receiving a lot of possitive feedback on ZD as there seem to be a big influx of users working on 2D games and also using @CobraCodeDev amazing tutorials. Might be time to step our game with 2D tools @UnrealEngine @TimSweeneyEpic. In the meantime i'll keep doing things

I started this small project "#Gloomreal" because I wanted to make something to showcase the possibility of creating #retrogames in the style of Doom in the #UnrealEngine5. I used the assets from Gloom, it will be very similar but not a remake of the game.

Day 1 #アンリアルクエスト３０分しかなかったのでプレイヤーキャラクターのインポートと攻撃のアニメーションまで実装出来た Only had 30 minutes, so imported the character and set up the attack animation using PaperZDs new montage override #ue4 #unrealEngine #indiedev #gamedev

Finally doing something like "montages" for PaperZD, after avoiding them like the plague... It's obviously something different but at the very least we get a way to trigger animations by code through slots. #ue5 #paperzd @UnrealEngine
