This chart layers Bitcoin supply bands by how long coins haven’t moved. The white line tracks BTC’s price. Early on, most coins changed hands within months (bright green/yellow), but over each cycle, the long-term bands (purple and blues) have steadily grown. That means more BTC is being HODLed for years rather than traded. As you can see, the purple (>10 yr) and navy-blue (5–10 yr) waves are bulking up, long-term holders are firmly planted, while the green (6 mo–2 yr) bands are thinning as short-term traders are shrinking. Pretty sure most of that purple supply is in a landfill somewhere… 🚮
