Population of St Ives 11,200. They get 10 Berliner sized pages jam-packed with well written local news - a really good read for £1.20. Population of Kingston 174,600. We get 44 tabloid pages of not very much at all, except adverts. Expensive at 65p. @CutsQuest

@PeaKayEff Not odd at all. The decline of local journalism sadly. @WimbledonNews a mouthpiece for @Merton_Council most of them time. Even more important that #Merton #vocallocals keep residents informed on so many issues and encourage others to do so, particularly after May #localelections
