I actually love Mega Dragonite's design. Dragonite is a pseudo legendary that's friendly and charming, not scary looking like Salamence or Tyrannitar. Dragonite's a cuddly teddybear dragon, and this Mega form makes him look even more adorbs and huggable. 🥺🥰

Expedition 33 is not traditional Euro high fantasy. It is akin to China Miéville's surrealist fantasy with bizzare, absurd, and logic defying settings. You hear this in the music. Some tracks are orchestral, while others are modern electronic synthwave. I love it so much.

Gustave attempts to parry, misses, and dies in one hit. Lune, standing alone, proceeds to perfect parry each attack, and then finishes things off with an Ice Lance. The Expedition 33 combat music is just...some of the best I've ever experienced.

Recently finished episode 0 of this game, and while I own episode 1, I'm going to wait till the rest of the story is out to finish. It's an amazing mix of Danganronpa meets Ace Attorney with an amazing cyberpunk background and setting. One of my new fav visual novels.

I finished the Lies of P Overture DLC yesterday, and I can confidently say LoP is my favorite Soulslike ever surpassing FromSoft Soulslikes even if they invented the genre. Dark Souls crawled so that Bloodborne/Sekiro could run, and in turn so that Lies of P could RISE and FLY.

Finished Lies of P last week, and now I've played every Souls game. Bloodborne, Lies of P, and Sekiro are my top 3. LoP might be my most favorite. It combines mechanics from both BB and Sekiro, has a more direct story, beautiful OST, and the bosses are challenging, but fair.

After 72 hours, it is done. While not as chaotic as Demon of Hatred, Sword Saint Isshin was still an intense boss that barely gave any breathing room. But once you learn his rhythm, the battle becomes a patient dance. I've now finally played all FromSoft Soulslikes on PC. ☺️

I originally defeated Demon of Hatred using cheese. Normally I would move on, but for Sekiro it didn't feel right. I wanted to best him 1v1 at least once. After 6-10 attempts, I fucking did it. Shinobi Umbrella and Finger Whistle were the MVP. Rest in peace, Sculptor. 😭

An hour of non stop attempts... 😭😭😭 With the Empowered Mortal Blade, the wolven son slays his owl father. 🐺⚔️🦉 This battle truly taught me that Sekiro bosses and the Owl Father in particular are dances. You learn their rhythm and waltz along in step. 💃

1 hour and 40 minutes of attempts to shinobi execute Owl. 😭 The key to victory was measured aggression, instead of recklessness. It was a battle of attrition requiring my patience and cool. Fighting him back to back after Emma and Isshin Ashina humbled me fast.😮‍💨
