Across the ocean floor, undersea cables carry more than 95% of the world’s digital traffic. It sounds like a huge failure point. Are Disaster Recovery Tests exercised on the equipment - hot, cold & warm. Are failovers there to help restore 95% of traffic. Does traffic remain secure if anything happens. Is there air gapped equipment. What is the standard uptime. Etc. Just to help reassure people. Sounds alot would screech to a halt if there are issues of any sort. Maybe more thoughts than asking for an answer.
