Unitree has finally developed ambidextrous hands for the G1 H1 —Unitree Dex5 Dexterous Hand Single hand with 20 degrees of freedom (16 active+4 passive). Enable smooth backdrivability (direct force control). Equipped with 94 highly sensitive touch points
@CyberRobooo That’s crazy! 94 touch points and it moves like a real hand? Unitree’s really pushing the limits, can’t wait to see what happens when AI starts using this level of control in the real world.
@CyberRobooo “Get me a Pepsi” When a robot can carry out that command, I’ll buy it. Especially if I have to explain what a Pepsi is. It’s a complex command and it will have to learn to do it. The devices are good. It’s about the underlying software now.
@CyberRobooo Wow, impressive innovation from Unitree! Those hands are truly cutting-edge.
@CyberRobooo @Scobleizer But can the robot play piano?
@CyberRobooo Why? People only use 3 fingers for 99.9% of their daily tasks. If the robot doesn't need to play the piano, why add 5 fingers to its hand?
@CyberRobooo the crazy thing is these will play piano better than you, be cheaper than a concert grand, and infinite repertoire 🤯🤯🤯
@CyberRobooo Perfect 🤩. This is just what I needed. A robot to complete a Rubik’s cube for me🥰
@CyberRobooo "Fascinating how robotic hands now mirror the dexterity of bamboo-loving pandas - let's discuss force control versus blockchain consensus mechanisms sometime!" 🐾
