Astribot’s Milestone Astribot has just secured a landmark deal with Shanghai SEER Robotics for a 1,000-unit order, accelerating its expansion into industrial and logistics applications. Interestingly, the Astribot S1 wheeled humanoid is already being used in shopping malls, tourist attractions, nursing homes, and museums. Moving from service scenarios to factory logistics seems far easier than the other way around—bringing a robot from a factory into service environments is much more complex. SEER Robotics brings deep expertise in industrial automation and is building end-to-end smart warehouse solutions powered by robots. The Astribot S1 is becoming a key piece of that puzzle, taking on long-sequence, fine-grained tasks. Last year, SEER also launched a wheeled humanoid robot designed for box handling, which will eventually work in tandem with Astribot’s system. For Astribot, deploying robots at the 1,000-unit scale provides the most valuable resource of all: real-world operational data. This data will further enhance the S1’s underlying models and capabilities.
@CyberRobooo Looks like Astribot is leveling up! Next stop: mall cop duties?
