Successful delivery of Petition to SCC Gordon Jones A positive step in keeping our parental voice in the future of our kid’s school.
Yesterday, I was delighted to hear that The Bridge School is no longer being forced to academise. There are still a number of questions that need to be answered but this is a major, positive step as we look to rebuild the Bridge. Well done to @DBTBActionGroup & everyone involved.
2/2 and that the LA no longer plan to academise the school. The IEB is now tasked with getting the school back on track and finding a new head. Our protest on friday is therefore cancelled as we look to work with the LA. We thank you for your support #Timetorebuildthebridge
We are pleased to announce that yesterday we met with the LA who tconfirmed that an order has not been signed to academise The Brdge School. This was advised to us on several occassion by the IEB. Parents will recieve a letter today to confirm this 1/2
Preparation is well underway for our protest at 11am this friday at Endeavour House Ipswich, parents and friends of the Bridge School Ipswich will be expressing their views on the unjustified and forced academisation of this important SEN school. #dontbreakthebridgeschool
