An EPIC day off work yesterday and I am now enjoying an additional 4 weeks off courtesy of @VMware for being with them over 16 years. With beautiful weather and fabulous scenery, I don’t think life gets any better than this.

In 1997 the 39th platoon walked out of these gates for the last time after spending 3 years there. In 1998 the Army Apprentice School closed down. Today approximately 500 people attended a ceremony to unveil the restored gates. Some of 39th platoon pictured here today.

Nice end to my virtual walk Cork to Dublin return. Due to skipping many days of the challenge I had to step it up. Finished my last day with over 40,000 steps.

My dog wakes at 6 every morning for his walk. The clocks have gone forward and he still woke at the 6. If I can’t remember that the clocks are changing, who told him?

Did a 6K walk this morning with the dog and was greeted by this sunrise when I got back. If you zoom in you can see the moon stayed up as well to see the fantastic sunrise.
