@kozibaW @DDiba75 What I know is that with clothing items, 40% duty tax is applied, which is done on the item price then sales tax 14% (VAT) on item price + shipping cost (if free they apply their own rate). This applies to all countries outside SACU. Havin bought stuff from UK, Italy, Spain & US

@DDiba75 Is this BWP1.8K inclusive of delivery cost? BURS wouldn't charge you that much if you got it through DHL. You probably paid 400 pula for service fee and then 1 tao for duties and sales tax.

@DDiba75 How much was the shipping ? It’s around 45% duty for clothing from Europe + 14% vat… and the 45% is charged on clothes and shipping which is wild … so if your shipping was for example P600 it would be like P1080 for duty and P336 for vat so about P1416 💀💀

@DDiba75 Burs is on a rampage man. They were given a mandate to being in that revenue and overcharging customs fees seems to be the easiest way to get things done. I ordered a turbo a few months ago and they didn't hold back on me either.
