Academic interest of few students can’t outweigh right to health & life of lakhs of students. MHA/UGC have overlooked alarming COVID-19 crisis, poor health infrastructure & deadly flood. Their decision to conduct final exam, is illegal & unconstitutional. SC will set it aside.

MHA has filed its Response in our #UGC matters, supporting UGC decision. MHA has clarified that despite MHA Unlock-3 Guidelines, UGC can still conduct final year exams. We are fully ready with our legal arguments. Final year students will get Justice in Supreme Court tomorrow.

UGC has just now filed its Affidavit in our SC Petition. MHA has not yet filed its Response. During last hearing, I had pointed out that UGC Guidelines of 6 July & MHA Unlock-3 Guidelines are contrary to each other. But both UGC & MHA have not responded to this point till now!

IA filed in our UGC case seeking response from ALL states! State Vs UGC issue is delaying the matter! Even if State Autonomy is upheld, many states will still not cancel Exams & students will suffer! Right now, focus should be to uniformly cancel all exams & award degree ASAP!

Our UGC matter was adjourned SOLELY because UGC asked time to File Reply. But UGC has NOT filed its Reply even till now! UGC, States & all other parties should request SC to conclusively decide this case Tomorrow itself. This Uncertainty is causing lot of stress to students!
