A few months ago I released react-native-sortables drag-and-drop sorting library - yesterday it hit 600 ⭐ on GitHub! 🎉 Task-planner demo in the attached video shows zero-render style updates and smooth resizing when dragging between sections. Source code link in thread 🧵

for so long, react-native lists were slow. but now we have two projects competing to see whose 1.3x speed scrolling is faster on Android. craziest part: they're both JS-only. the video on the left is the built-in react native list (slow) vs. two open source alternatives (fast)
