On today’s Hall of Fame (political), we have Plaid Cymru for their positive disability policies. DR are not aligned with any political party, however, we like to give credit to any politician or party who stands up for disabled people and/or have positive disability policies. Plaid Cymru often champions disability rights and isn't has a strong commitment to disability rights. Plaid Anabledd (Plaid's disability section) actively advocates for disability rights within the party and on a wider platform, and has a dedicated section on their website. Additionally, Sioned Williams MS is actively involved in disability rights campaigns according to her website. Thank you all 💜 #DisabilityRebellion #TakingThePIP #WelfareNotWarfare

@DRDisabilityReb Just note of caution! Yes many in Plaid that can be commended & their leadership is certainly pro disability rights! but they're neoliberal party & have significant section of conservative with small c! so if in power their pro disability will be stressed by economic policies
@DRDisabilityReb Can a shout out be given to PODS (parents opening doors) based in Telford. Charity that is there to help and support children and families of sen kids. They are amazing!
