We could get RID of covid. Not through vaccination, but by preventing its spread. It was done with TB, not with antibiotics or vaccination, but by preventing its spread. Whenever ‘freedom’ &profit are prioritised over public health, people die & go on dying. People SUFFER. So, paradoxically, do ‘freedom’ & profit. donotpanic.news/p/the-forgotte…
@DSEDunn I'm on your side about wanting to stop spread, but it would take a whole of society effort & involve cleaning air & mandatory masking. Even then, we would only bring it down to low levels (a good thing), but it would begin its climb again. I'd prefer that to letting it rip.
@DSEDunn Was saying to my husband earlier, I naively thought that *any* government, of whatever persuasion, would put public health first and foremost in an emergency. How silly was I to think that? (rhetorical question)
@DSEDunn I had hope in 2020 that we would be able to prevent the spread through quarantining, masks, and vaccinations. Once the masks came off and everything was back to "normal" in 2021, it started to mutate our of control. I'm afraid it's too saturated in our bodies and society now.
@DSEDunn the Russian misinformation campaign continues 2be successful despite our knowing about it. (It’s not a conspiracy theory, but a fact.) Ppl keep allowing themselves to be hobbled by these tactics. And the govt lets it happen without educating the public. nature.com/articles/s4156…
@DSEDunn How do you prevent the spread of something with such a remarkably high R as Covid? It is typically passed on within two days of contacting it and before any symptoms are noticed.
@DSEDunn 1. Avoid recontamination 2. Speak with Healthcare officials about addressing C19 Cocktail 2019 With Antiviral Therapy 3. Understand what you became infected with.
