I propose that all 50 states pass post-crash DUI-D laboratory oral fluid drug testing laws to equip all officers with inexpensive laboratory oral fluid testing kits to provide the most accurate evidence to victims of DUI-D drivers after establishing probable cause & an FFST.

As of today, there have likely been more than 100,000 commercial truck drivers who have tested positive for drugs, in light of the monthly averages. The U.S. DOT estimated that there will be 300,000 CDL drivers who will fail or refuse a drug test based upon survey data.

97,144 commercial truck drivers have tested positive for drugs, since Jan of 2020, according to the U.S. DOT. 92,847 drug testing violations, or 80.6867% of all violations, were for cocaine, marijuana and meth. @freep In 2019, Alabama became the first U.S. state to implement a comprehensive dual oral fluid drug testing program. France has a similar innovative program, which collects two oral fluid samples to be tested on-site and in the lab. All 50 states should implement new DUI-D programs.
