DMX’ death hit me harder than I woulda thought. His music was powerful. Got a Lyft once with a guy who asked if I liked rap music and specifically if I liked DMX. He loved DMX. We jammed out to DMX the whole ride. It was the best Lyft experience I ever had.

I never thought I’d hear it actually said but a coworker told me that he and his wife refuse to visit a store because the employees won’t say Merry Christmas during the holiday season. I can’t believe these people are real.
