Today I start my visit to Lebanon to express support and solidarity with all the people in Lebanon at this critical juncture. This escalation has brought so much destruction and loss of life and it needs to end now.
Productive meeting with Minister @HectorHajjar where we discussed the current situation and the needs on the ground. The ministry is operating under very challenging circumstances as the needs are rising, and resources are dwindling. Urgent support is needed.

At the headquarters of the @HRCSaudi, in collaboration with the @IOMBahrain, a workshop was convened to explore the role of bilateral agreements in combating human trafficking. Esteemed experts from @KSAMOFA, @HRSD_SA, and @NccTsa actively contributed to the discussions.
نظمت لجنة مكافحة جرائم الاتجار بالأشخاص ورشة عمل توعوية حول "مكافحة جرائم الاتجار بالأشخاص وقنوات الإبلاغ عنها"، بالتعاون مع @IOMBahrain ومشاركة منسوبي @CSC_SA و @ICHTSA .
تناولت الجلسة الثالثة ضمن أعمال "ندوة تعزيز التعاون في مجال مكافحة جرائم الاتجار بالأشخاص" الأطر التشريعية والمؤسسية والإجراءات الرامية إلى مكافحة هذه الجرائم في المملكة، وتجربتها في الشراكات الدولية وأثرها على تعزيز المنظومة الوطنية وبناء القدرات في مجال مكافحة جرائم الاتجار…
It also highlighted the importance of promoting dialogue and cooperation between the respective countries of destination, transit and origin.
The workshop aimed at strengthening the capacity of 55 border management and human rights stakeholders to manage #migration, movement and borders in a human rights and protection-based manner.
IOM is honored to have facilitated the Best Practices in Migration and Border Management workshop at @NAUSS_SA in Riyadh. The workshop marked the beginning of a successful collaboration between IOM, UN sister agencies, @NAUSS_SA and the @HRCSaudi_EN
